I've gotten emails (before the email servers went down, that is) from some students concerned about grades. Students are not going to be penalized for the current weather conditions. I will adjust due dates and accommodate lateness in consideration of the power outages and school closures.
Please do not worry. We will get through the current problems and adjust the schedule accordingly.
I have been clearing snow and removing trees today and tomorrow I have a house closing so please check the blog on Saturday for some more updates. As long as I have power, I will be working on some blog posts to cover some of the material we are missing due to the lost classes.
