Installing QBASIC

You can install a QBASIC compiler on your own computer so that you can work on your assignments at home.

QBASIC for 64-bit Systems

Downloads of QB64 are available for

• Windows
  Extract the files to your preferred folder
• Linux
  
  1. Extract the files to your preferred folder
  2. Run the installation script setup.sh in the qb64 folder to complete setup
• MacOS
  
  1. Install Apple's XCode package
  2. You may also need XCode's Command Line Tools
  3. Extract the files and run setup.command in the qb64 folder
